Each year, rapid development across Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley threatens to erase hundreds of acres of historic battlefield land. Founded in 1988, the Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation (CCBF) was created to confront that loss and has since preserved roughly 350 acres connected to October 19, 1864, Battle of Cedar Creek. As a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit that receives no state or federal funding, CCBF depends on members, donors, sponsors, grants, and volunteers to advance its mission of preservation and education. By joining today, you help protect and maintain these irreplaceable historic and cultural resources in partnership with CCBF and its allies.
All memberships include a membership card, subscription to our e-newsletter, a membership packet outlining benefits (including a tax deductible receipt for your generous contribution), a 15% discount (or otherwise specified) for CCBF official merchandise such as apparel, souvenirs, and advance notice of exclusive battlefield tours, private receptions, and meet and greets with historical figures. All memberships are active for 12 calendar months starting on the day of enrollment.

We also offer Student and Research Group Membership options!
Student memberships include all of the benefits of the Private member level for $20 annually (due at time of membership with presentation of a student ID).
Research Group membership is a $150 bundle for up to 6 group members. Research Group membership includes all of the benefits of the Private level for each member, access to CCBF’s artifact collection pending viewing application approval and schedule availability (loaned artifact viewing available pending approval from its owner), meeting space for group gatherings, and unlimited access to CCBF’s Research Library and resources during business hours.
